Collection of documents of a Jewish factory owner in Berlin - 1920s-1940s


An interesting collection of legal documents between the Jew Mr. Hans Prausnitz and various companies he headed and engaged in the manufacture of lighting fixtures for streets and industrial plants in Berlin - 1920s - 1940s. Prausnitz immigrated to Eretz Israel in the 1940s, and also appear documents related to the factory he owned in Haifa.


Among them are: The original agreement made between Mr. Prausnitz and a lighting company in Berlin where he was appointed director and came to its sole power - Berlin 1922 - a comprehensive agreement on daily working hours, his annual salary, annual vacation days, manner of work, and contract validity - up to 1924, an extension agreement for his position signed in Berlin in 1925, an agreement from April 1930 extending Friesnitz's activities in installing lighting fixtures to other cities in Germany, a purchase and sale agreement made between Hans Prausnitz and Mills company in 1938 - including items he owned and found in Haifa at the time. Confirmation that Hans Prausnitz did his job faithfully as the factory manager signed by B. Gusinsky March 13, 1944 - Hebrew and English, various documents signed between Friesnitz and various German factors during the 1930s and give him extensive powers as manager and sole power of the factory - mostly in German with German stamps and ink stamps. Various documents from Prausnitz's time in Haifa as manager of a lighting factory after fleeing Berlin and immigrating to Eretz Israel - 1944, and more.
