Instructions for use of a weapon - Palmach - Yitzhak Rabin's copy - early signature of Rabin, And a rare signature of his code name "Amiram"


Rare booklet in stencil printing - instructions for using weapons (rifle and slingshot) for Palmach members - Yitzhak Rabin's copy during his service in the Palmach being 19 years old! signed with his early signature and code name 'Amiram' which he used during his service in the Palmach. On the cover, Rabin signed with the hide name 'Amiram'. On the inside cover another signature with his real name 'Yitzhak Rabin' - One of Rabin's earliest known signatures. On the back cover is an illustration of the Palmach emblem. As far as we know, it's a single copy in the world in which Rabin signed his name 'Amiram' in addition to his real name.


In 1941, at the age of 19, Rabin was one of the first to join the Palmach, which was established in May of that year. At the beginning of 1945, with the establishment of the Palmach battalions, he was appointed deputy commander of the First Battalion. At the end of 1946, Palmach commander Yigal Alon appointed Rabin commander of the second battalion of the Palmach recruited brigade. In October 1947, Alon put him in the position of Palmach operations officer. During his service in the Palmach, Rabin became known by the code name "Amiram".
