Ancient Greece > Macedonia > Neapolis, circa. 424-350 BC: AR Hemidrachm (13.5 x 14mm, 2.45g); facing Gorgoneion / head of nymph facing right in concave circle & letters of legend Ν-Ε-Ω-Π at each corner + vertical hairlines. Reference: SNG ANS 425-427; medallic alignment at slight rotation; VF/GVF, well centered on both sides & well struck, almost no porosity + split in the flan as commonly encountered on this issue.
