A photograph showing a group of Jewish schoolchildren and their teachers in the "Machzikei HaDas" building during breakfast. The seal of the photographer "Pat Rembrandt" and the caption "Breakfast, bread and hot water for the students of the Talmud Torah Machzikei HaDas 1917". The children were photographed in front of a blackboard on which was written: "If there is no flour, there is no Torah."
On the back is a caption written in Yiddish: "Remember the children who study in poverty and are in need. Support them every place with bread and water." Underneath the seal of Machzikei HaDas in Polish and the street address of the school: Nadrzeczna 50, Poland.
These type of photos are very rare!
The photo is divided on the back to server as a postcard.
