Rabbi Moshe Baer Schoen, leading disciple of the Kesav Sofer and of Rabbi Yehuda Aszad, Rabbi of Krems, and later of Vieden – Vienna. Rabbi Yehuda Aszad, whose published responsa includes many addressed to Rabbi Moshe Baer, always addresses him with highly complementary titles, including ‘tzadik venisgav’ and ‘harav hagadol’.
