Herzl's Vision - Photomontage Postcard - 1919
Herzl's Vision - A Photomontage postcard in the style of the Yougenshtil - Herzl against the backdrop of Mount Zion and the Tower of David, and pioneers on the way up, and the rising sun.
A Photomontage postcard consisting of the figure of Herzl as photographed by Ephraim Moshe Lillian at the Three Kings Hotel during the first Zionist Congress in Basel, and an Yougenshtil-style illustration of Zionist pioneers. On the back of the postcard is a New Year's greeting in Yiddish dating from 1919. At the same time, a similar postcard was published by "Lebanon" - Warsaw.
Few stains on the back of the postcard. Good condition.
