The 'Diary of Anne Frank', First Edition in Hebrew - translated by Shmuel Schnitzer, published by Karni, 'Davar' print. Tel Aviv, 1953.
First edition in Hebrew of 'Diary of Anne Frank' published six years after the first Dutch edition. This edition was printed in a limited number of copies and distributed as a gift to the subscribers of the "Davar Hashavua" newspaper. After the diary was a great success among the Israeli readership, it was printed in countless editions.
