Beautiful oxidized heavy cast sterling silver Jewish wedding ring.
This ring is a beautiful reproduction of an Italian 17th century Jewish ring.
This kind of rings are unique Jewish ceremonial objects, that were occasionally a family possession, handed down to successive generations of brides.
More often they were owned by the community and lent to the new bride for the week following her marriage.
The ring is shaped as a five tower castle, that can be opened as seen in the pictures.
The shank has foliage ornaments on both sides .
