Unidentified writer, "Menachem son of Aharon", who signs at the end of the homily: "These are the words of Menachem son of Aaron, lover and pursuer of peace… Parashat Shlach, the year 5658, Vyetka, Gomel region, Mogilev on the Dnieper".
