Beit Din for all Ashkenazim communites, was the only Ashkenazi Beit Din in Jerusalem until the separation of the Eidah HaChareidit and part of the Chareidim established a group called 'Vaad HaIr HaAshkenazi' and their Beit Din the 'Eidah HaChareidit', at the end of that year 1919-1920.

At the head of the Beit Din stood and lead great sages of the world: Rabbi Moshe Nachum Walenstein, Rabbi Tzvi Pesach Frank, Rabbi Yonah Ram, Rabbi Lipman David Shuvaks, Rabbi Yitzchok Frankel, and Rabbi Yeruchem Fischel Bernstein and more. In the year 1920 with the appointment of the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaKohen Kook as Rav of Jerusalem and the founding of the Chief Rabbinate, part of the Rabbanim separated and set up the 'Vaad HaIr HaAshkenazi', which later became the Eidah HaChareidis.
In these letters before us, are very important historical affairs. Division of estates and inheritance of Kollel Wahlin with the representative the Holy Rabbi Moredechai of Rachmestrivka, as well the division of the inheritance of the famed Mandelbaum family, private disputes among people of Jerusalem among them renowned personalities. Among the copies also found a letter related to the authorization and appointing of great Rabbi's members of the Beit Din Tzedek in Jerusalem and the establishment of the founding of the Chief Rabbinate, permissions for Agunot, estates, and the establishment of charity funds for widows and orphans in Jerusalem, letters to all people of Chassidei Chabad in America and England, to protect the good name of 'Kollel Chabad' from slanderers.
