A JEWISH BABYLONIAN ARAMAIC TERRACOTTA INCANTATION BOWL
6th-7th century CE. Depicting a human figure surrounded by Aramaic inscription, beginning: “May there be hea(ling from Heaven) for Evyona son of of Berikh-I- and for Bat-Sahde daughter of Nana, his wife ….”, and ending with the blessing: “ … Amen Amen Selah. Sound and immediately”. (Translated by Dr. James Ford, Hebrew Univ.). In very good condition. 16.2 cm in diameter. Ex Robert Silverman collection, Jerusalem. (non exportable).
