A good L.S., Mal Duc de Dalmatie, one page, folio, Paris, 29th December 1839, on the foreign affairs ministry printed stationery, to Baron Deffaudis, plenipotentiary Minister of the King to the German confederation, in French. Soult, in his capacity as Prime Minister of France, states in part `I forward to you the proof tests of the Royal almanac related to the small States of the German Confederation which do not have representatives in Paris. I kindly ask you to rectify this on all your official documents as well as on all those in hands of these States envoys..´. With blank integral leaf. Folded. VG £100-150
