NAPOLEON I: (1769-1821) Emperor of France 1804-14, 1815. A good L.S., `Np´, one page, 4to, gilt edges, St. Cloud, 10th June 1811, to the Duke de Feltre, in French. Napoleon dictates the present letter to Ménéval, stating `Monsieur the Duke of Feltre, I receive the position of the mobile military columns on 15th May. I wish that you send to me the same report updated on 1st of June, & this way every fifteen days. I pray God that he keeps you under his Holy guard.´ On 9th June 1811, the day before the present letter was written, Napoleon´s son, the King of Rome was christened. Accompanied by a small 12mo holograph pinned receipt to the bottom left corner. Very small creasing to the borders, otherwise VG £500-800
