Vintage signed sepia carte-de-visite photograph, the albumen print by Mayall of London and Brighton and depicting Peabody seated in a three quarter length profile pose at a desk, with a quill in his hand. Signed ('George Peabody') in fountain pen ink to the lower photographer's mount and dated 1866 in his hand. Photographer's imprint to the lower mount and verso.
