Postcard, Handwritten and Signed by the Admor- Rav Yosef Wertheim. 7th of Iyar 5696.
Admor Rav Yosef Wertheim of Bender- descendant of the Bender Admor dynasty, and on his mother's side descendant of the Chernobyl dynasty. Son of the Admor- Rav Shimon Shlomo Wertheim of Bender. Rav in Australia, Hrubieszów and took his father's place in the Rabbinate and Admorship of Bender. He worked tirelessly to help the Jews of Bessarabia and even endangered himself by doing so. In 5700 he made Aliya to Eretz Yisrael and established a Beis Midrash with eventually became a large center for Torah and Chassidus. Passed away of the 23rd of Adar, 5707.
