Letter from the Admor of Sochatchov- Rav Chanoch Bernstein and His Rebbetzin, to His Nephew: The Admor of Radzyn.
Letter in the holy handwriting of the Admor- Rav Chanoch Bernstein of Sochatchov Zatzal, to his wife's nephew the Admor of Radzyn zatzal. On other side of page: Letter in Yiddish from the Rebbetzin to them.
The Admor- Rav Chanoch Henich Bernstein (5657-5725). Son of the 'Shem MiShmuel' Admor, an outstanding Gaon in the revealed as well as hidden aspects of Torah. He did not give his consent to become an Admor until after the Holocaust, in which his brothers- (both of whom were Admorim), Rav Dovid of Sochatchov and Rav Avraham of Kutno were killed. He then rebuilt the Sochatchov chassidus and reestablished the Sochatchov yeshiva in Bayis Vegan, Jerusalem.
