Mi Nasan L'Mishisah Yaakov V'Yisrael LBozazim – Torah Scroll on Parchment that was Destroyed by the Enemies of Israel and Redeemed by Jews
Torah Scroll destroyed by soldiers during the terrible Holocaust and redeemed by Jews. Many yeriot are stained with blood and acid. Most of Exodus is stained; "Shirat Hayam" has footmarks of the impure feet of the tyrants. Torah Scroll ("Maschu'ach" later). Written by hand on parchment, Europe. Early 20th century. Ashkenazic script. 42 lines. Without atzei chaim. Height of parchment: 52 cm.; height of text: 39 cm.
