A long, 3-page letter from the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Pollack, the Av Beit Din of Soltvadkert - Hungary, after the horrors of the Holocaust, concerning a heter agunot dispensation for women whose husbands' whereabouts and fate was unknown. Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Pollack, the Av Beit Din of Soltvadkert , was the son of Rabbi Yeshaya Pollack, who was a student of the Shevet Sofer. Rabbi Pollack's son-in-law, Rabbi Asher Anshel Katz, is the rabbi of the Vien community in Brooklyn and is the rosh yeshiva there. Soltvadkert - Hungary 1946. 21x17 cm.
