Two stamps on the title page, of the Holy 'Atzei Chaim' of Sighet, Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Teitelbaum, with a handwritten dedication by Rabbi Benzion Halperin (Halpert) of Nanash (on reverse), who received the book as a gift from the Admor the Atzei Chaim.

The Admor Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Teitelbaum (1880-1926) was the son of Rabbi Chananyah Yomtov Lipa, author of Kedushas Yomtov. Rabbi Chaim succeeded his father as rabbi of Sighet and the admor of his father’s Chassidim. He was among the Torah giants and great admorim of his generation, and died young, at age 46.

Rabbi Benzion Halperin, the Av Beis Din of Nanash, was the son-in-law of Rabbi Yisrael Ephraim Sofer of Nanash, author of Afsei Aretz. Rabbi Benzion succeeded his father-in-law as Rabbi of Nanash.
