A.T.S. - שירות העזר - סניף הנשים של הצבא הבריטי במלחמת העולם השנייה שהוקם בספטמבר 1938
מוערך כי ATS ספגו 717 מקרי מוות במהלך המלחמה מתוך כוח מגויס כולל של יותר מ -190,000 נשים.
במהלך מלחמת העולם השנייה שירתו בכוחות המזוינים הבריטיים כ -30,000 גברים מהיישוב,
לבקשת הסוכנות. בסופו של דבר מאמץ הגיוס הזה הופנה לנשים, נוכח הסכם בין הרשויות הבריטיות למועצת ארגוני הנשים. בסופו של דבר, כ -4,350 נשים מהיישוב פעלו ב- ATS ו- WAAF - חיל העזר - אוויר לנשים.
