Otzarot Haim, authored by Rabbeinu Haim Vittel, which he received from the Ari, a foundational work of kabbalah. With endorsements of Admor Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Shapira (the Darchei Tshuva) of Munkatch and Rabbi Shlomo Eliyashiv, the HaLeshem. At the end is Mevo She’arim by the same author, with separate cover, gold letters. [2], 57 pages, [2]. [2], 76 pages. Stains at the edges of some pages, new binding, preserved copy in good condition. Glosses handwritten, some long and significant, by the kabbalist Rabbi Mordechai Moshe HaKohen Karpman of Jerusalem, signed at the beginning of the book. Important signatures of Aharon Avraham Slatky (see below), and later (at the beginning of Mevo She’arim) a Sefardi signature of Yitzhak …[?]. Rabbi Refael Aharon Avraham Slatky (1883-1976) was the son of Rabbi Moshe of Kalish, a kabbalist of Jerusalem. He was student of the kabbalist Rabbi Haim Shaul Davich, and Rabbi Moshe Elfandry.
