Pri HaAretz, Zhitomir, 1849, by Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Vitebsk. One of the fundamental books of the Chassidic movement.
This book includes the drashot of Rabbi Menachem Mendel, based on the teachings of Chassidut, from parshat Lech Lecha onward. At the beginning of the book there are Torah thoughts by Rabbi Avraham ‘the angel,’ the son and student of Rabbi Dov Ber of Mezeritch, the Maggid of Mezeritch.
Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Vitebsk (1730-1788) was one of the disciples of the Maggid of Mezeritch.
Printed at the famous publishing house of the Shapira brothers.
