Books of Earlier Prophets, Later Prophets and Writings, with the two famous biblical commentaries: Metzudat Tziyon and Metzudat David, by Rabbi David Altschuler and his son Rabbi Yechiel Hillel Altschuler. Brought to print by the author.
Before us is the first edition of these renowned commentaries on Prophets and Writings, Metzudat Tziyon and Metzudat David, among the most important commentaries of all time on Prophets and Writings. These commentaries are printed to this day in all editions of Prophets and Writings with commentaries.
* Earlier Prophets: Yehoshua, Livorno, 1740. 44 leaves.

*Later Prophets: Yeshayah, Livorno, 1741, Yirmiyahu, Livorno, 1741. 235 leaves. The commentaries on the Later Prophets were first published in Berlin, 1730, and were published here by the author, with changes and supplements.
*Writings: Daniel, Ezra V'Nechemiah, Livorno, 1740; Divrei HaYamim, Livorno, 1742, 33, [1], 33-185 leaves. Poem at the end of the book by the printer about finishing printing this edition, and poem by the author. Leaves 184-185 contain an annual calendar through the end of the 6th millenium (תקמ''ג-תת''ר). Lacking front binding.
