ANNA CATHERINE CONSTANCE VASA: (1619-1651) Polish Princess. Daughter of King Sigismund III and his second wife Constance of Austria. Anna Catherine Vasa died childless at the early age of 32. Rare L.S., Anna Catharina Constantia, one page, folio, Warsaw, 14th January 1634, to a reverend, in Latin. The Princess congratulates her correspondent for his new appointment and indicates that `..your appointment will increase happiness all over the world..´ further thanking him for his previous and kind letters and wishing him all the best. With blank address leaf, written to the last page the date, location, and `Sor.ma Principessa di Polonia´. Overall age wear and staining, with edges trimmed. F to G £400-600
