Ancient Greece > Aspendos: AR Tetradrachm (30.5mm, 16.7g) c. 212-181 BCE but dated 194-193 BCE in the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon; head of Heracles facing right wearing lion skin headdress / Zeus seated to left (facing right), holding eagle and sceptre, right leg drawn back & vertical legend AΛEΞANΔPOY (ALEXANDROY) at back + A-Sigma/I-Theta (Year 19 date) at left. Reference: Price 2898; EF/AU, well centered & struck on good bright metal; well detailed; removed from NGC slab with label as "Choice AU, Strike 5/5, Surface 4/5"; medallic alignment.
