Dozens of handwritten glosses by the Mekubal Rabbi Yehuda Ptaya that never printed as a book. on 'emet leyahkov' livorno 1843

"emet leyahkov" part A- Introductions to "Etz hayim", Livorno [1843], about 30 long glosses were found in the handwriting of the Kabbalist Rabbi Yehuda Ptaya. Most of the glosses are signed 'Yauda Yazo'' or 'Yauda', in the glossary on leaf 29a, the genius points to his book Babli' - Bethlehem Yehuda. The glosses were never printed.

The genius discusses in depth the author's words in the wisdom of Kabbalah, and in several places even disagrees with his words: 'There is not enough excuse', 'You will wonder about a great man in his Tora how he writes this ...', 'And his answer does not go well', on page 109 :  במחילה מכבודו כי הלב הוא עצמו בינה כמו שכתוב בינה ליבא ופירשו חז"ל שהלב הוא נעשה מהבינה ואם כן אין הבינה היא בחינת כמ"ט בלבד הלב אבל החכמה הוא דבר אחר... יהודה יצ"ו' [ישמרהו צורו ויחיהו..

The manuscript certainly identified as the handwriting of the Kabbalist Rabbi Yehuda Ptaya. Most of the glosses are signed by the name 'Yauda', In addition in the glossary on page 29, the genius points to the things he wrote in his book 'Bethlehem Yehuda':'לא מצאתי שום היפך או קושיא כלל, ואין זו צריכה לפנים, ועיין בבל"י (בבית לחם יהודה) כת"י (כוונתו לחיבורו 'בית לחם יהודה' שהיה אז עדין בכתב יד טרם נדפס) בדברינו ותבין דלא קשה כלל'. בהגהה בדף ק"ה ע"ב מסיים הגאון בברכה: 'עד זמן הגאולה העתידה בב"א (במהרה בימינו אמן) יאודה'.

The Kabbalist Rabbi Yehuda Moshe Ptaya [1859-1942], born in Baghdad, was ordained to teach by Rabbi Abdalla Somekh, and was the distinguished disciple of a great Kabbalist in his generation, Rabbi Yosef Chaim, the Ben Ish Chai. He has authored many books in the wisdom of Kabbalah.  Published as one of the earliest Kabbalists in the secret of the names and spells, wrote amulets and cured patients, repaired souls and brought out spirits that entered people. In his famous book 'Spirits tells' he brings the story of dozens of cases in which he took out spirits that infected people. At the end of his life, Rabbi Ptaya immigrated to Eretz Israel, and his immense greatness became known there, and as the Nazi forces advanced almost uninterrupted toward Palestine, the Kabbalists repaired prayers, and Rommel's army was repulsed to the British army at El Alamein, thanks to his prayers. After his immigration to Jerusalem in 1926, he studied at the Kabbalist Yeshiva of Rabbi Hassade' with Rabbi Yaakov Chaim Sofer, author of "caf hahayim." He has authored books "Bethlehem Judah", "matok lanefesh" on the Idra and other books.
