Manuscript on the inside of a book's binding. Commentary on Ktzot HaChoshen. By Rabbi Avraham Abali the Av Beit Din of Varzan and author of "Ahavat Eitan" on the Mishna.
In the middle of the page there is an inscription with signature of the writer: "…Avraham Abali son of Rabbi BenZion…".
Rabbi Avraham Abali [Krenitz] Av Beit Din of Varzan (1829-1889), Otzar 896), son of Rabbi BenZion of Zezmer. His work "Ahavat Eitan" was published from manuscripts on Mishnayot of the Vilna Printing house. His sons and sons-in-law were rabbis of cities in Lithuania - see attached materials.
