This is a magnificent early edition of Shnei Luchot HaBrit with an illustrated poem by the author and an especially lengthy approbation by the gaon, the kabbalist Rabbi Naftali Katz, author of Semichat Chachamim, given specifically for this edition. The book Hakdamat Vavei HaAmudim by the author's son, Rabbi Sheftel Horowitz, appears at the end with a separate title page.

Fine condition. Lacking the illustrated title page. Restoration to the margins of the title page with slight damage to the border on the back of the title page. Large, impressive copy in an antique leather binding.
