Menorat HaMeor, mussar and compilations of midrashim by Rabbi Yitzchak Abuhav. With an Ashkennaz [Yiddish-Deutch] translation at the bottoms of the pages by Rabbi Moshe Frankfurt, adjudicator in Amsterdam.
Spectacular copperplate frontispiece including biblical figures and motifs. Reinforced with thick paper on its reverse.
This is the first edition with Yiddish translation and commentary. There is an introduction by the translator and commentator and a foreword by the printer, both in Yiddish.
[1], 6, 288 leaves. 31 cm. Antique owners' stamps on both title pages. Fine condition. Aging stains. Slight blemish on leaf 27 and reinforcements with slight damage to the text on the last two leaves.
