Pair of balls for Pֳ©tanque game, adorned with Stars of David.
Iron; leather pouch.
Pair of iron balls. Apparently, they were for playing Pֳ©tanque. Flat iron balls covered in tinted gold, silver and copper which form decorations of gilded Stars of David with a circle on the inside on each of the balls and the letters JB as well. Placed inside a leather pouch, original, with buckles. The Pֳ©tanque game was common in France and was invented in the south, in the Provence region, in 1910.
Each ball weighs 1 kg. Diameter: 9 cm. Strip of leather pouch is torn and missing.
