Draft of an essay, typewritten, with numerous handwritten corrections. Bentwich (1883-1971) was the legal advisor to the Mandate Government during the years 1920-1931; retired as an act of protest against the anti-Zionist policy of the Mandate, served as a International Relations lecturer at the Hebrew University, and in 1951 returned to Britain. 20, [1] leaves, 30 cm. Good condition.
