Shimi Tavori (born as Shimshon Tawili) is an acclaimed Israeli singer of Yemenite Jewish origin. He performs in Hebrew and French, mostly in the so called 'oriental' (Mizrahi) genre, and is considered one of its biggest stars. Tavori started out singing at nightclubs in Ramla, and after a few years developed a unique blend of 'oriental' music and French romantic pop songs.
7 photographs and 60 color negatives of Tavori.
The photographs are from the early stage of his career and from its peak. Part of the negatives are for posters, others are from performances from different periods in his career.
