[1], [12] engraving plates, leaf, 63 cm. Fair condition. Significant foxing. Stains, tears and wear to cover.
* Collection of engravings depicting scenes from the Bible and from the New Testament. Europe, 16th through 20th centuries.
Among them: judas nurum suam thamar comprimit [Judea and Thamar], an engraving by Hieronymus Cock, Yael and Sisera, and an engraving by Jan Saenredam – Boos Et Ruth [Boaz and Ruth], an engraving by Bernard Picart and others.
Total of 9 engravings. Size and condition vary. All of the engravings except for one are mounted to paper at upper corners. One engraving is colored by hand.
