1. Opening speech at the session of the council, Yonatan Ratosh. Published by the Council of the Coalition for Hebrew Youth, 1944. The speech delivered by Yonatan Ratosh at the convention of the "Coalition for Hebrew Youth" movement delegates. This speech became the major manifest of the Canaanite ideology. "The Council of the Coalition for Hebrew Youth" (the "Canaanites") was founded in 1939. The movement reached its peak in Eretz Israel during the 1940s, and impacted the course of political thought, art, literature and spiritual and cultural life in Israel. Its members attempted to directly link between the people who lived in Eretz Israel in the second millennium BCE and the Hebrew people in Eretz Israel of the 20th century, while trying to create a new-old culture and unchain Jewish tradition. The name "Canaanites" was given to the group, with certain irony, by poet Avraham Shlonsky. 50 pp, 16.5 cm. Good condition. Stains, covered fastened with adhesive tape.
2. 2. "BeZemer Yiftzach – Ish HaP…", Booklet of Palmach songs, 1945. First printed version of Palmach songs. The name "Palmach" does not appear explicitly in the booklet since the organization was, at the time, acting secretly. The introduction states: "in our special integrative life the satiric and humorous song has its permanent position and we often find within the lines a reflection of our sad life through a good however mocking eye…". 16 pp, 13.5 cm. Good condition. Stains.
