First edition of Sephardic version prayer book with commentary of Rabbi Ya’akov Emden. The commentary was compiled by the publisher for this version for the first time. Separate title page for section two with forged location of print, “Kyritz”, and detail of year of Kyritz publication.
Copy missing 8 leaves. Section one: 2-7, 13-176, 277-292, 193-226 leaves (faulty pagination. Missing: Title page and two following leaves, leaves 8-12); Section two: 85, [1] leaves (leaf 12 partially missing. Replaced with leaf from other copy). 20 cm. Good-fair condition. Majority of leaves in good condition, tears on several leaves and scotch tape restorations. Stains. Damaged binding.
