Ga’on Rabbi Eliyahu Guttmacher (1796-1875), among first disciples of Rabbi Akiva Eiger in Posen. Av Beit Din of Pleszew and Greiditz. Exalted righteous Kabbalist. In his later years was famous as a ‘miracle worker’; known as “Der Greiditzer Tzadik” [=Tzadik of Greiditz].
