"Bnei Binyamin" union was an organization founded in 1921 by farmers, named after Binyamin Ze'ev Herzl and Binyamin Rothschild. The original goals of this organization were to assist farmers in settlements, but shortly afterwards it turned into a society purchasing lands and establishing settlements. In order to achieve their goals "Bnei Binyamin" founded in 1924 a society named "HaNote'a" for planting orange groves – a society which was also involved in transferring Jewish property from Germany to Israel , as well as the "Bnei Binyamin Bank".
