Portraits of forty three rabbis, public figures, intellectuals, physicians and scholars; most of them from Germany, Austria, Holland and France. Amongst them: Baron Rothschild, Aharon Jelinek, Isaac Mannheimer, Julius Fürst, Salomon Gotthold [Shlomo Zalman Halevi], Samuel David Luzzatto, Manuel Joel, Baruch Spinoza, Gabriel Riesser, and many others (the names in German appear below the portraits).
23X20 cm, pasted on cardboard, 28.5X23.5 cm. Fair-good condition. Spotting, creases and tears.
