Ketubah recording the marriage of the groom Yitzchak ben Pinchas Chaim with the bride Manwar bat Yosef Katz. Isfahan, December 1926.
Decorated with characteristic illustrations in color, with lions, birds, the sun and flowers. On the bottom, next to witnesses’ signatures, a handwritten addition, in Jewish-Persian, from 1932. Next to the addition – a JNF stamp with a portrait of Theodor Herzl.
Ca. 60X65 cm. Fair condition. Folding marks, creases, spots and tears. Lower left corner – missing. Framed.
