Last edition of Siddur Rödelheim printed in Nazi Germany, several months before the burning of synagogues in Germany. When the war ended in 1945, the Siddur was printed again by Victor Goldschmidt in Basel, Switzerland. On p. 122, instead of the common prayer "Hanoten Teshu'a LeMelachim" appears a unique version of a prayer which opens with "Nisa Levavenu el Kapaim". This prayer reflects the hard times of German Jews. VIII, 319 pp. 18 cm. Good condition. Dark stains. Re-bound. Worming damages to binding and to several leaves.
