abbi Mordechai Azriel Weinberger (1883 – 1953) was the son of Rabbi Shmuel Zalman Weinberger, Av Beis Din of Margaretten son of the Mahariatz. Rabbi Mordechai Azriel frequented various Chassidic courts and his yeshiva had a Chassidic flavor. He himself had a "tisch" and even business owners would flock to hear his words of Torah and Chassidus. He was taken to the Grosswardein Ghetto in 1943 and was then deported to Auschwitz. He perished in the Holocaust on the 3rd of Sivan, 1944.
