Long handwritten and signed letter from Rabbi Yaakov Kappel Lichtenstein addressed to his relative, Rabbi Akiva Yosef Shlezinger.
Rabbi Yaakov Kappel Lichtenstein (1822 - 1883) was a prominent rabbinical leader who served as Rabbi of Bethlen between the years 1871 – 1875. He was a brother of Rabbi Hillel Lichtenstein of Kolomyia and the father of Rabbi Yehuda Lichtenstein of Bethlen.
