Two-volume manuscript, Taj (Keter Torah) - the Five Books of the Torah, with vowelized Targum, Rashi commentary and Likuttim (compilations) of commentaries and midrashim. Yemen, [19th century - after 1803].
Neat, charming writing, with marginalia. At the end of the volume of Vayikra-Devarim is the scribe's colophon: "Yichye son of Yehuda", who wrote these books "under much pressure due to a number of inflictions, the greatest being lack of livelihood…". Various ownership inscription: "Moshe son of Ya'akov Amrani", "Avraham son of Moshe Amrani", "Yichye son of Shalom Tzabari", "Shalom son of Yichye Tzabari".
Two volumes: [142] leaves; [2], [131], [1] leaves. 33 cm. Condition varies. Volume Bereshit-Shemot: fair condition, dampstains, wear and pasted tears. (Lacking leaf at the beginning of Parshat Shemot and the end of Parshat Pekudei). Volume Vayikra, Bamidbar, Devarim: good-fair condition, stains and wear. New folk bindings.
The Likuttim of Vol 2 cite Nachal Kedumim and Chomat Anach written by the Chida [printed in 1795-1803].
