Long letter of semicha handwritten and signed by R. Zvi Kinstlicher. Sibiu (Nagyszeben), Kislev, 1926. On the margins of the second leaf and on its verso are two more semichot handwritten and signed by R. "Chaim Mordechai Roller" and R. "Yechezkel Rotter". Klausenburg, Kislev 1926.
R. Yechezkel Rotter (1876-1939), Rebbe in Hodász and Rabbi in Klausenburg. Son-in-law of Rebbe Aharon Yeshaya Fish of Hodász. Disciple of Rebbe Yissachar Dov Rokeach of Belz and of R. Yechezkel Shraga Halberstam of Shinova. His testament and history were printed in the book Zichron Yechezkel (Klausenburg, 1940). See Encyclopedia L'Chassidut, Vol. 2, p. 179.
Rabbi Zvi Kinstlicher (1871-1965), Rabbi of Sibiu (Nagyszeben, Hermannstadt. Author of Be'er Zvi, prominent rabbi in Hungary-Transylvania and an eminent Belzer Chassid close to the Rebbe.
Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Roller (1868-1947, Otzar HaRabbanim 6487), posek, leading Romanian Torah scholar and famous tzaddik. In his youth, he printed his Talmudic novellae Ben-Yair (Chernivtsi 1900) valued by Rabbi Chaim of Brisk. He was also renowned as a posek and after WWII, he was very active in releasing agunot. His halachic responsa were printed in the three volumes of his book Be'er Chaim Mordechai responsa.
Recipient of the semicha: "Levi Yitzchak Miller" (1904-1996), son of R. Asher Anschel Yehuda Miller, Rabbi of Petroşani (1880-1961). Known from his youth as an outstanding prodigy, he Torah novellae were published in various Torah anthologies in his times. In ca. 1930, he wed the daughter of R. Yosef Zvi Halprin, Rabbi of Şomcuta Mare. Later, R. Levi Yitzchak Miller served as Rabbi of Deva and after the Holocaust as Rabbi of Timişoara. After his aliya to Israel in the mid-50s, he served as Rabbi of Kiryat Binyamin and as Chief Rabbi of Kiryat Ata.
