Advertisement booklet for the upcoming publishing of The Tanach in Pictures by Abel Pann. Jerusalem, 1923.
The booklet includes:
1. preface by Abel Pann, next to a lithograph self portrait of Pann.
2. articles by Boris Schatz and Avigdor Hameiri (among others) on Tanach illustrations
22.5 cm.
Wear and tear, especially on the corners. Stains (mainly on the back cover). Some pages weren't completely cut at the upper margins.
Decent condition.

Abel Pann (1883–1963) was a European Jewish painter who settled in the Talpiot neighborhood of Jerusalem in the early twentieth century and taught at the Bezalel Academy of Art under Boris Schatz.
