Collection of Postcards – Authors, Leaders and Works of Art – Published by "Central"

25 postcards depicting portraits of Jewish authors, Zionist leaders and works of art. Most of them were published by "Central". Warsaw and elsewhere, [the first decades of the 20th century].
Twelve of the postcards depict portraits of authors, thinkers and leaders, including Avraham Resin, Achad HaAm, Peretz Hirschbein, Shalom Aleichem, Hillel Tzeitlin, Shaul Tchernichovsky and others, alongside quotes from their letters or writings; the other postcards mostly depict works of art, including works by Isidor Kaufmann, Lazar Krestin, Samuel Hirszenberg, E.M. Lilen, and others.
Approx. 14x9 cm. Good overall condition. Minor blemishes to the edges and fronts of the postcards. Stains. A small open tear to the edge of one postcard. One postcard was used.
