Two press photographs documenting Kibbutz Kfar Etzion, 1946 and 1967.
1. A photograph of two settlers riding on donkeys carrying heavy equipment on the road leading to Kfar Etzion. On verso of the photograph, a newspaper clipping is mounted, from an article which accompanied the photograph, with a date stamp – July 10, 1946.
2. A view of Kibbutz Kfar Etzion. On verso of the photograph, a press information note is mounted, dated 30.12.1967.
Kfar Etzion was first established in 1927, was abandoned several times over the years and was reestablished after the Six-Day-War.
Size of photographs: approx. 18x23 cm and 20.5x25.5 cm. Good overall condition. Stains. Creases and minor blemishes. On verso of the photographs there are stamps, handwritten notes and barcode stickers.
