Sha'ar Ma'amarei Rashbi and Ma'amarei Razal – with Glosses and Commentary Handwritten by the Kabbalist Rabbi Menachem Menchin Halpern – has not been Printed

Sha'ar Ma'amarei Rashbi. Sha'ar Ma'amarei Razal. The second and third sections of eight sections authored by Rabbi Chaim Vital as he received from the Ari. Salonika, 1862.

Throughout the book, there are glosses and commentary handwritten by the Kabbalist, the genius Rabbi Menachem Menchin Halpern, the author of Hagahot U'Ve'urim al Kitvei HaAri and more. The glosses before us were never printed! The book contains two types of his stamps "Menachem Menchim Halpern of Grodno author of Hagahot U'Veurim al Etz Chaim Hakadosh by the Ari" (Hebrew) and an additional large stamp " Menachem Menchim Halpern of Grodno author of Hagahot U'Veurim al Etz Chaim Hakadosh and on Sha'ar Hakdamot and Sha'ar Hakavanot and on Mevoh She'arim by the Ari and author of the book Kevod Chachamim in Jerusalem".

Rabbi Menachem Menchin Halpern (1844-1924) was one of the greatest kabbalists if Lithuania and Jerusalem. He established the Beit Midrash "Chevrat Alsheich" in Grodno. The author of the well-known series of books "Hagahot U'Veurim" on the book Etz Chaim (Warsaw, 1891), on Sha'ar HaKavanot (Jerusalem, 1902) Mavoh She'arim (Jerusalem, 1904), on the book Otzrot Chaim (Jerusalem, 1907). Hagahot V'Tikkunim on Sha'ar Ruach haKodesh, Etz Chaim Sha'ar Hahakdamot and Sha'ar HaPesukim (Jerusalem, 1907). He also authored glosses and commentary on Peirush Klali Sefer HaPeliah by the Radbaz (Jerusalem, 1910-1914). In addition authored the book "Kevod Chachamim" in which he disagreed with the Yavetz's claim against the book Chemdat Yamim and proved that the book matches the Ari's Kabbalah and therefore its source is a true kabbalist. In 1901, he immigrated to Jerusalem and lived in Batei Machaseh in the Old City of Jerusalem. He was known as a miracle-worker and became known when he drove out a Dybbuk that clung to an orphan girl (Encyclopedia for the Pioneers of the Yishuv (Hebrew) (1947) Volume B, p. 689).
