A CHALCOLITHIC COPPER SHAFTED MACEHEAD
4th millennium BCE. The head is made with spiral depression and the neck is decorated with wavy patterns. With nice green patina. Very rare. Cracked during the cast, which is a very rare phenomenon. 20.2 cm high. Ex Donald Simon collection, USA. Ex Archaeological Center auction no. 5 (26 December 1989. Lot 221).
