Finely bound in uniform contemporary gilt-tooled mottled calf, featuring floral borders, upper covers bearing owner’s name “Jakob ben Itzik Loewerden Segal” beneath a crown held aloft by two cherubs (the symbol of the Parnassim, or Governors of the community).
